The Christmas songs are on repeat, the festive knitwear is out of the wardrobe and work Christmas parties are in full swing – it’s official, Christmas is just around the corner!

Let’s start with drinks…

We’ve been busy testing and trialling some delicious festive recipes, sure to put a smile on your guests faces. 

Start things off with a Mince Pie Martini. 

A perfect treat to serve as your guests arrive – and you can make it a mocktail by substituting the liqueur for cream and a little grating of nutmeg, if you like. Mince pie syrup is available online or in many supermarkets at this time of year.

Why not add a Cinnamon White Russian to the menu?

The 70's classic is making a comeback! Though long regarded as boring and unsophisticated, now ordering the drink is 'a mark of a hipster'. Here's our take on a Cinnamon White Russian with an espresso twist...

Finally, the Ultimate Espresso Martini –

The favourite after dinner pick-me-up, perfect for those moments when you just can’t choose between a coffee or alcohol.

If your day isn’t caffeine filled enough, why not try these coffee-themed ideas for some extra decoration around the house?

Coffee filters make excellent snowflakes. Simply fold 4 times and cut out some shapes, unfold and viola… a snowflake. Great for keeping the kids entertained and look great hung in the window or even on the tree.

Fill a glass vase with coffee beans and baubles and place a large candle in the centre to make a festive centrepiece to please any coffee lover.

You may have seen Prosecco bars were very popular over the summer especially as it means the host can leave it to their guests to make their own drink. Coffee bars are this winter’s next big thing. Simply put a pot of coffee out along with enough mugs, milk and any flavoured syrups or liquors and your guests can make their own perfect cup.
